Fourth Annual SAOC Walk – Thank You!

Thank you for your support!!

The Sisters Against Ovarian Cancer Walk in Memory of Marie Spinale was held on Saturday, September 10, 2011.

Over 100 people gathered to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research in memory of SAOC’s founder, Marie Spinale. THANK YOU to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered or were there with us in spirit. We could not have done it without you!

Proceeds of the 2011 SAOC Walk have been directed to the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to support the Sisters Against Ovarian Cancer Koch Institute Frontier Research Fund.

This fund provides research grants to KI investigators to support innovative, early stage cancer research projects that are difficult to fund with conventional funding methods but have potential for groundbreaking discoveries that can directly benefit patients.
